Article to Video Converters Reviewed
I have used 3 different article to video converters. While they all do the job, here are my thoughts about using them to create videos from articles
We’ll start with a GFX Video Writer sample that I made …
Good features include:
- Choose from AVI, FLV, MOV, MP4, SFW or WMV output formats
- Record your own voice-over for your video articles
- Choose from a variety of backgrounds, or import your own
For the money, this is a great way quickly and easily to turn your articles to videos. You really can’t beat the one time out of pocket expense on this tool.
I did not choose to record my own voice, since I don’t care for my voice …

Which is why I have also tried two other article to video converter programs that can actually turn text to speech. I like having this option available, for me it’s a nice added feature. Although there are monthly fees for these two programs.
VideoGoRound & ArticleVideoRobot
I have made a text to speech voice over video, of the same exact text in each, so you judge these programs yourself.
VideoGoRound is brand new at the time of this writing.
I signed up for the 10 day trial and made some videos. I think the idea is pretty cool. I will be using some of these videos on my blog here down the line.
They claim you can write or paste in some text (just like this post), and have it INSTANTLY converted into your *own* viral video that you can do whatever you want with.
The download format of these videos is .mov.
I have to admit it was they are easy and quick to create. I do find the characters a little freaky though.
Then when I uploaded the video to youtube, I got this message …
“The MOV/MP4 file you uploaded contains the index at the end. We prefer you flatten the file before uploading so that the index is in the front of the file. ”
I don’t care for the extra work required there and did not do those extra steps. But here is the sample I made …
Also, I feel there aren’t as many options as AVR.
The third and last tool I want to discuss is …
I’m contented with it. The features are user friendly and you can easily submit the newly converted article video to top video sites.
The finished product can be downloaded in swf or avi video formats
You can add music background, I don’t see that option in VGR
You can put your information on video while creating the video, like your web link, which you can have displayed all the way through the video … I don’t see that option in VGR either.
After using all three, my vote goes to AVR.
The monthly payment is well worth the investment as far as I am concerned.
AVR and VGR cost about the same, except you can use a coupon code “plr50″ (without the quotes) to get a discount of 50% … EVERY MONTH, not just the first month. Now you get a better tool at half the price!
That along with AVR having more options, in my opinion, does make AVR the winner.
Here is my sample video from AVR …
Those are my thoughts on the top three article to video converters available today … Fell free to leave your thoughts below.
I hope this review post has helped you decide what is best for you.
